While I have some sympathy for this message, I should point out that this page is NOT a page for communicating with the Sheriff, or to discuss how he handles his job. Instead, this page is a discussion page created specifically for the purpose of maintaining, and if necessary, upgrading, the article named "Grady Judd". Can we talk about how to handle his long history of issues around sexual assault, pedophilia, and him being the Epstein files

There is many credible sources going back since he became a officer, that all say this. I just want to talk about how this should be handled and added following policies, especially since recent additions keep being removed by one single editor. Remember that allowing the removal of these things is the act of actively protecting child rapists, precisely like Grady Judd and his goons have been proven in court to have done. (The girl not only was forced to write apology letters TO THE RAPISTS by Judd & co, but literally had to wait to be raped again and film it, to get them to stop sweeping it under the carpet!! If you're surprised to find Wikipedia shielding powerful men who abuse children, read "The Franklin Scandal" by Nick Bryant - the journalist who broke the story on Epstein's flight logs. The actual case is Taylor Cadle's lawsuit (the article references it many times, without mentioning that the several paragraphs are actually all referring to a single specific case, not multiple as a straightforward reading would suggest), which you can find here (Note: everything I say here is taken from the court document, and primarily from Taylor Cadle herself (or rather her lawyers))

The actual investigator was Melissa Turnage of PCSO. She apparently felt that Cadle was not credible due to having "three stories that say you like to be with your dad ", as well as the fact that Cadle was messaging friends during her reported assault (Cadle claimed that she did do this), and that a rape-kit test showed no DNA. We don't know what the actual nature of the evidence Turnage had: what/who was the source of the stories (was it Cadle?), if the rape-kit was mishandled or the test was carried out too far from the incident, or what the test actually looked for. Cadle could have correctly been reporting the instances of assault but giving the wrong dates, which result in lack of any corroborating evidence being found. Turnage's conclusion that Cadle was lying could easily have been a reasonable one given all the information she had. Someone can both be a victim and have no actual evidence of that victimisation, it's an unfortunate reality. (Note that the Ledger article, says that condoms were used and but security cameras did not corroborate Cadle's claims about the location of condom purchase prior to the assault. Additionally condom usage doesn't necessarily defeat rape-tests, it's dependent on what type of testing was performed, which is not provided anywhere I can find.)

On the basis of this Turnage dropped the investigation against Henry and recommended charges against Taylor instead. Cadle plead guilty to providing false information to police, this was on encouragement of her mother Lisa.

Cadle then filmed an assault by Henry, and reported it to police (Ledger article says it was a picture rather than a recording). He was arrested and charged with that assault and all previously reported assaults that Turnage investigated. Cadle's prior guilty plea was cleared and charges were dropped, and the state Attorney's office implemented a rule that required administrative approval to charge minors who claim to be victims of sexual assault (so they strengthened potential victim protections in response, hardly a coverup...). There is zero evidence of any actual coverup, at the worst this was a poor investigation by Turnage. Even Cadle's civil suit only alleges that Turnage was untrained, a poor investigator, and that Grady Judd enabled her poor conduct along with weak enforcement of application of procedural rights across the board (i.e officers failing to read Miranda rights). Zero allegation is made of systematic coverups of crimes. (Although Cadle does seem to try to insinuate this by citing Polk counties purportedly higher charging rates for false reports, although maybe she/lawyers didn't actually believe this since making a false claim in a case does not invalidate other claims).

Needless to say there is zero reason to say that there is any evidence of Grady Judd or anyone in PCSO "actively protecting child rapists". This is simply conspiracism that has no place in a biography of a living person. And simply observing this is not protecting child rapists either. JSory (talk) 15:11, 6 June 2026 (UTC)
