The "Jibril" spelling is clearly WP:COMMONNAME, being used in the vast majority of reporting about him. If no one has any objections, I'll move the article to the other spelling. GeoEvan (talk) 03:09, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Okay, actually I'm not so sure anymore. Radio Dabanga and Reuters use "Jibril", but Sudan Tribune and BBC seem to use "Gibril". I suppose we can leave it as is for now. GeoEvan (talk)
