The statement "It is more commonly referred to as both River Watch Parkway and Washington Road in the Augusta, Georgia area" is incorrect. River Watch Parkway and Washington Road are NOT the same road. I cannot site a source, but if you look at Google maps of the Augusta Area, and look up Lake Olmstead, one can see that John C. Calhoun Expressway lies to the West of the Lake and becomes Washington Road and River Watch Parkway lies to the East of the Lake. Even the article refers to two different roads. If the statement in question is saying that one road is named RWP AND the OTHER is named Washington Road, then I think the statement is both awkward and confusing. But I do recognize that it is possible that I could have completely misread this, so perhaps someone else could look at it and give a second opinion?? Bad S Mini (talk) 16:04, 20 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

River Watch Parkway

[edit]

I don't believe this roadway should be included as a subsection in this article. The connection to SR 104 is very tenuous. The content makes no cited claim to notability. The content about the part that is SR 104 should already be in the main portion of the article, and the rest of the content about the roadway does not warrant inclusion. Being an "important road in Evans Martinez and Augusta" is highly subjective and not born out with citations to reliable sources. Honestly, if it's so important, a stand-alone article could be created and make it through AfC/AfD, but I doubt that could happen at this time. Imzadi 1979  10:27, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
