Question about PROD

[edit]

@Hiobazard: Can you explain what evidence you found to support your claim that this is a PR in disguise? Which company is being promoted? Do the sources fail verification? –LaundryPizza03 (d) 17:12, 31 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Looking at the refs, most are from niche waste-managment trade rags or other highly specialized publications. The authors of many of those papers are associated with the capitalized and tradmarked GeoMelt(TM) process which is simply a commercialized name for in-situ vitrification with locally available substrates. Many others sources are very basic governement websites simply describing what hazardous wastes are...information already easily availabe here on WP and elsewhere in better, more encyclopedic articles that are not touting a trademarked process. The patented process has been bought/sold several times and is apparently currently owned by Veolia in France. Hiobazard (talk/contribs) 16:36, 2 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
