Adding More Career Notations To Improve Accuracy

For transparency's sake this is a Team GaryVee member speaking. We're looking to update his career scope to more accurately represent what Gary Vaynerchuk is involved in. Would appreciate any notes and or recommendations on these potential submissions, thank you.


Overview

Gary Vaynerchuk is the creator and CEO of VeeFriends, a character-driven intellectual property that began as an NFT collection in 2021 and has since expanded into books, toys, trading cards, and live conferences.[1] In addition to founding VaynerMedia, a global advertising agency under the VaynerX holding company, Vaynerchuk has launched several other ventures including Gallery Media Group (PureWow), The Sasha Group, VaynerCommerce (eCommerce strategy), Vayner3 (enterprise web3 consulting), Eva Nosidam Productions (branded content production), Tingley Lane Trading (brand incubation), and VaynerSports (athlete representation).[2] He is also a founding partner of the hospitality company VCR Group, which launched concepts like Flyfish Club, the first NFT-member restaurant.[3] He is the co-founder of the restaurant reservation platform Resy, acquired by American Express in 2019,[4] and the direct-to-consumer winery Empathy Wines, acquired by Constellation Brands in 2020.[5]

Vaynerchuk is the chairman of VaynerX, a communications holding company that encompasses media, marketing, and technology ventures, including VaynerMedia and Gallery Media Group.[2]

VaynerMedia

Founded in 2009, VaynerMedia is a global, full-service creative and media agency headquartered in New York City, with offices in Los Angeles, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Amsterdam, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Sydney. It provides services across strategy, creative, media buying, influencer marketing, and content production. The agency has been recognized at major industry events such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, and The Webby Awards.[6]

VaynerSpeakers

VaynerSpeakers is a modern speakers bureau representing entrepreneurs, creators, executives, and cultural voices. It leverages the broader VaynerX ecosystem to grow brand equity and long-term monetization opportunities through live appearances, content distribution, and platform alignment.[2]

The Sasha Group

Launched in 2019, The Sasha Group serves startups and growth-stage businesses by combining strategic marketing consulting with executional services. It offers brand development, paid media, leadership training, and content strategy through programs like Sasha Selves.[2]

VaynerCommerce

VaynerCommerce is a full-stack eCommerce consultancy helping brands optimize direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth through brand storytelling, performance marketing, UX design, data science, and digital storefront development. It launched in 2020 following the acquisition of Lucid Fusion.[2]

Eva Nosidam Productions

A creative content production studio, Eva Nosidam (Madison Ave spelled backwards) develops branded entertainment, documentaries, social-first videos, and experiential campaigns that challenge traditional advertising norms. It has supported flagship campaigns such as VeeFriends launches and "Day Trading Attention."[7]

Tingley Lane Trading

This brand incubation and investment arm backs emerging companies across CPG, tech, collectibles, and lifestyle. Named after the street where Gary Vaynerchuk’s entrepreneurial journey began, it emphasizes cultural timing, founder alignment, and long-term brand building.[2]

Gallery Media Group is a modern digital media company housing properties like PureWow and ONE37pm. It produces lifestyle, culture, and entrepreneurship content distributed across web, video, audio, and social platforms, partnering with brands for full-funnel integration.[8]

VaynerSports

Co-founded with AJ Vaynerchuk, VaynerSports is an athlete representation agency serving talent across the NFL, MLB, MMA, and NIL (college). The firm offers contract negotiation, endorsement deals, branding, and business consulting.[9]

VCR Group

Co-founded by Gary Vaynerchuk, David Rodolitz, Josh Capon, and Conor Hanlon, VCR Group is a hospitality company focused on concept creation and experiential dining. It launched Flyfish Club, the world’s first NFT-based private dining club, and collaborates with real estate and F&B partners to build tech-forward culinary ventures.[10][11]

Empathy Wines and Resy

In May 2019, American Express acquired Resy, the restaurant reservation platform co-founded by Vaynerchuk, integrating its services into Amex’s premium dining offerings.[12] In July 2020, Constellation Brands acquired Empathy Wines, co-founded by Vaynerchuk, to scale its direct-to-consumer innovation across the broader portfolio.[13]

VeeFriends (2021–2025)

VeeFriends is a multimedia IP brand that began as a collection of 10,255 hand-drawn NFTs in May 2021. Each NFT granted access to VeeCon, a private business conference.[1]

Series 1 (2021)

The original VeeFriends Series 1 included 268 characters drawn by Vaynerchuk. Each NFT had utility in the form of access to VeeCon and future ecosystem integrations.[1]

Series 2 (2022)

Released in April 2022, Series 2 expanded to 55,555 tokens with refined artwork and new character variants, positioning the brand for licensing and mainstream IP development.[1]

Events

Two VeeCon conferences were held in 2022 (Minneapolis) and 2023 (Indianapolis), featuring keynote speakers, business panels, and cultural activations.[14]

Retail & Publishing Collaborations

- Macy’s and Toys“R”Us launched VeeFriends plush and vinyl toys in 2022.[15] - Mattel produced a special UNO VeeFriends deck.[16] - VeeFriends partnered with Topps to launch 2025 Chrome trading cards.[17] - Children’s books and value-driven stories were published under the brand’s education division.[1]
