Not a fan of the guy but this article comes across as a hit piece and the parts attacking him in the lede is too vague. Vague negatives but no attribution - and implied conclusion that he is mostly wrong? Yeah, he got a few things wrong but he was also right on quite a few things. The issue is that it makes it seem like he got everything wrong which is an over generalisation. It follows a false binary - medicine evolves; early or later revised studies are normal. Mirken at least corrected himself - which is a professional strength not a scandal. The lede should not editorialize or overgeneralize but fairly stick to neutral facts.
