Proposed edits to GT-02287 page

[edit source]

I am affiliated with Gain Therapeutics. I noticed some language on this page about rexaceract - formerly known as GT-02287- that appears incorrect or outdated. I am requesting review rather than making direct edits due to my conflict of interest. Below are the statements, proposed corrections, and sources (some of which have already been cited on this page).

Current text(1): GT-02287 is a β-glucocerebrosidase (GCase) activator, positive allosteric modulator, and/or chaperone which is under development for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, Gaucher's disease, solid tumors, and dementia. It is taken orally.

Proposed edit(1): Rexaceract is a β-glucocerebrosidase (GCase) activator, positive allosteric modulator, and/or chaperonewhich is under development for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, Gaucher's disease, and dementia. It is taken orally.

Reason for correction(1): Updated with recently approved INN name. Additionally, rexaceract is not under development for solid tumors.

Proposed edit(2): The drug is under development by Gain Therapeutics. As of January 2026, it is in phase 1 clinical trialsfor Parkinson's disease, the preclinical research stage of development for Gaucher's disease, and the research stage of development for dementia.

Reason for correction (2): Rexaceract is not under development for solid tumors. Additionally, rexaceract was never under development for alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, globoid cell leukodystrophy, and GM1 gangliosidosis.
