I wouldn't promote the image as far too poorly lit to meet WP:DYKIMG. I don't find the hook interesting, but I can suggest ALT1: ... that the Fuck Tree has been used for gay sex since the 19th century?--Launchballer 12:32, 23 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Really...? I mean, don't we have a large Wikipedian community in London? Sigh Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 13:13, 17 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

I think I will ask over on Wikipedia:WikiProject London and Commons:Commons:File requests. Hopefully something comes up. ArtemisiaGentileschiFan (talk) 13:06, 18 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Slenderness versus prone

[edit]

The current first paragraph describes the tree as "noted for its slender trunk which facilitates gay sex," however the extended prone portion of the trunk seems to more accurately explain its usefulness for gay sex. There's seemingly no explanation for why the slenderness of the trunk is valuable for that purpose, or any reference to validate that it is noted for slenderness. Additional known-as

[edit]

The question arises, will we included numerous otherwise-known-as stuffing into the lead of every local lighting rod article in the English encyclopedia? I'm thinking no; discuss, below. /Augmented Seventh (talk) 20:40, 28 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

The previous addition of the Sycamore Gap tree (Sycamore Fap) / Fuck tree association is inaccurate. The species (oak v sycamore) are different, the locations are different - about 420 km or 260 mi apart, the shapes are different. The source https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/legal-dispute-over-toby-carverys-felling-of-ancient-oak-in-north-london-park-over-b1285611.html mentions the Sycamore Gap tree in passing at the end of the article and makes no direct association with the other. The Sycamore may AKA as the "Sycamore fap", but it's not the fuck tree. Adakiko (talk) 07:54, 30 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
