marked by a widespread fear of far-left movements, including Bolshevism and anarchism,

[edit]

Anarchism is not far-left, why is that even included? Jjbomb (talk) 05:46, 8 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Anarchism was originally a far-left ideology and continues to be so (excepting the claimed “ancaps” of course). Do you have any reliable sources claiming otherwise? 50.116.165.41 (talk) 14:22, 2 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
There is no source that explicitly says Anarchism is far-left, ancaps like me exist, Anarchism simply means no centralized government Jjbomb (talk) 01:55, 26 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Death Toll?

[edit]

The infobox states 165 people were killed in the First Red Scare. There's no citation for this claim, nor does it explain who the casualties were or who killed them. Is it referring to the people killed by police during the arrests of left-wing activists, deaths in the race riots, deaths from labour strikes or people killed in anarchist terror attacks? This number of 165 is not mentioned anywhere else in the page. Michael Sieger (talk) 02:07, 17 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Too US-centric

[edit]

The First Red Scare was a phenomenon that effected numerous countries, not just the USA. Can we get a broader picture, please? ~2026-50629-56 (talk) 23:06, 23 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
