Ignoring Congress

[edit]

This writeup completely ignores the importance of a 50 state strategy to winning control of Congress. It also fails to point out the undemocratic nature of the Electoral College, which is why a 50 state strategy won't work (in the short run). However there is an attractive reform to the EC in the form of the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. A 50 state strategy would be very helpful in passing the NPVIC, leading to presidential campaigns that take all 50 states seriously. Bottom line: this is a biased pro-establishment writeup that is hostile to the 50 state strategy. Burressd (talk) 09:43, 1 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
