A typical glass of fernet con coca from Argentina
- ... that the combination of fernet and cola (pictured) is so popular in Argentina that the country consumes more than 75% of all fernet produced globally? Source: CNN

Created on 29 May but expanded on 18 June so happy to accept as an expansion. Hook is sourced inline. QPQ is not needed as nominator only has 2 credits. No close paraphrasing. Picture licence is fine, though I'm not sure what distinguishes it from a photo of a regular coke. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 15:01, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Pronunciation IPA
[edit]I highly disagree on the approximant at the end of Fernet. At least here in Argentina (and I'm guessing in most variants of Spanish) that final 't' is definitely a voiceless plosive (unaspirated, like in most Romance languages, but still voiceless and fortis). It might be elided, it could be replaced with a glottal stop, but it's NEVER an approximant. ~2026-40049-92 (talk) 13:21, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
