I noticed that the Ernie Banks photo states that it was taken in 1969. That photo shows him with an Illinois centennial patch, which was worn in 1968.

It's a baseball card from a promotional set given away at checkout stands for Jewel Food Stores. Came out in 1969, photo was apparently taken in 1968. See Trading card database link. - Shearonink (talk) 03:09, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
