There is one case where the empty semigroup does occur as an issue
[edit]It is well-known that a structure that is a semigroup and a quasigroup at the same time is (almost) a group. Well, this structure can be empty, so the correct statement is: a structure that is a semigroup and a quasigroup is either empty or a group. 129.104.244.196 (talk) 19:22, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
