"the current recognised"... is Corydoras. Recognised by whom? A re-classification has been PROPOSED - as I understand it, it only. becomes established when it is used. I will continue to use the pre-2025 designations. Silly re-shufflings just add confusion. The purpose of scientific names is so that we all call a fish by the same name - this is best-served by not making unnecessary changes just to further some taxonomist's career. 2A0A:EF40:F50:6601:E553:AB73:D36F:D433 (talk) 15:27, 31 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
