CD-ROM

Earlier version
[edit]There was an earlier version of the emblem which had a predominantly red background, with a red star on top, and water waves on the bottom (instead of the horned animal). AnonMoos 10:03, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
Two more official seals for Madagascar

The first one was used between 1958-1975 when Madagascar was under the name of Repoblika Malagasy. Madagascar seal image does not match the official images
[edit]Good day. The Madagascar seal image does not match the official images. It is required to replace the current version with the real one. What is stated in the Madagascar seal article on the wiki does not match the official image. The official seal is made in two shades of gold (dark and light), there are no red, green, white colors. In addition, the current version of the wiki contains the motto TANINDRAZANA - FAHAFAHANA - FANDROSOANA, which means "Motherland - Freedom - Development", which does not correspond to what is indicated on the official website. The year 2010 was changed according to the new constitutional law passed in November 2010. . Seal of Madagascar → Emblem of Madagascar – I believe this article may be erroneously called a seal as it is a circular object rather than it being its actual appropriate name. What tipped me off is that the French Wikipedia page is titled 'Emblème' rather than Sceau as the lead in the English page suggests. Sources are hard to come by which makes this move so difficult, but the sources under Seal of Madagascar#External links seem to mostly refer to it as a an emblem or coat of arms, which indicates to me that the seal is a different object and not the one which is depicted here. Ultimately however I have absolutely no clue due to how poorly documented this area appears to be. notadev (talk) 21:22, 18 October 2025 (UTC)
