Elspeth Ferguson saved me from drowning.
[edit]I never ever got the chance to thank her, but when I was 7 (1959) Elspeth Ferguson saved me from drowning at St George's Swimming Baths, York. I was at swimming lessons and struggling in the middle of the deep end. Elspeth dived in fully clothed and took me to the side and safety. Thankyou Elspeth. I'm 70 now and have never forgotten. 5.80.47.94 (talk) 10:43, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
