She was acting in the same play, The Merchant of Venice, with Sir Henry Irving the night he died.

Irving’s own wiki page says he was acting as Becket: seized with syncope just after uttering Becket's dying words 'Into thy hands, O Lord, into thy hands'. Valetude (talk) 19:18, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
