NPOV

[edit]

The beginning of this article reads like an advertisement put out by their marketing department. Nospamtodd 03:21, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

good point. It probably was. BrandlandUSA 03:54, 21 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree -- doesn't sound neutral. I've stayed at the Econo Lodge many times -- cheap is fair, but comfortable and clean are definitely subjective here. What is the proper way to change this? Tjm402 21:18, 28 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would just change it. Try to make it sound neutral; just take out the description of it. I can start and then see if you agree.BrandlandUSA 04:11, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:EconoTravelpostcard.jpg

[edit]

Image:EconoTravelpostcard.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:39, 3 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

High speed internet?

[edit]

I stayed in an Econo Lodge last night. There was no high speed internet, free or otherwise. Also, the floor was filthy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.54.7.184 (talk) 02:42, 25 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edit of Econo Lodge Article

[edit]

I’m an independent Econo Lodge franchisee, and I’d like to help improve the accuracy of this article. Before I make any edits, could someone advise me on the best way to proceed? I want to ensure that any updates about brand requirements, amenities, and history follow Wikipedia’s sourcing and neutrality guidelines. My goal is simply to clarify common misunderstandings (for example, that free breakfast and a 40‑room minimum are not universal requirements) using reliable, verifiable sources. If anyone can point me toward the appropriate process or offer guidance on how to structure these improvements, I would really appreciate it.
