Saint?
[edit]
This church in Bleasdale is probably the only one dedicated to Saint Eadmer. This page about the church at lancashirechurches.co.uk gives a date of death for St Eadmer of 1109. Description panels near the church describe Eadmer as a monk who had a vision which revealed to him the place in Durham where Cuthbert of Lindisfarne was finally to be laid to rest. (No mention of a biography of Anslem - but this is the north where Cuthbert is a bigger hero than Anslem!) Is this Saint eadmer the same as the guy in the article? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:00, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
