Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as having no substantive content, because... The initial content will be added today. The article was very quickly tagged before I came back to finish the content. Thanks. --N8 13:32, 26 June 2015 (UTC)  Preceding unsigned comment added by N8wilson (talkcontribs)

Orphaned references in Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Empresa Municipal de Transportes de Madrid's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Estructura":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:30, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Company type history

[edit]

The history section mentions the history of the company's corporate structure, sourced and translated from this article. The two terms which appear in the article are translated as:

"sociedad privada municipal" -> "municipal private company"

"sociedad anónima de propiedad municipal" -> "joint-stock company"

I'm not sure these are exactly right. At the very least, the former seems to be a verbatim translation of the phrase, so I'm not sure how to map it to an equivalent category in English.

From some basic research, I think the former may be a looser category of company, and the latter may be (a variant of) a formal company structure (S.A. (corporation)).

Is there anyone more familiar with corporate structures in Spain who can clarify and correctly translate these terms? Are there better ways to categorize these types of company in English?
