– The internet aesthetic appears to be the primary topic for the term under WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Dreamcore is the general name of a broader cultural and visual concept, while the 2025 video game is a comparatively recent work sharing the same name. The aesthetic has received independent coverage in mainstream and academic sources, including Nylon, i-D and Empirical Studies of the Arts. “Dreamcore (video game)” would naturally and unambiguously identify the game. - Oppose, justified primary topic. 162 etc. (talk) 01:25, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- Could you clarify whether you consider the video game the primary topic by usage, long-term significance, or both? My proposal is based on the aesthetic’s broader concept and its independent mainstream and academic coverage. CarbonatedMilk875 (talk) 11:45, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- The video game averages well over 100 daily pageviews and is well-covered in a number of reliable secondary sources. Dreamcore (aesthetic) is about a topic of dubious notability with little evidence of WP:SIGCOV, and I'm honestly surprised it made it through WP:AFC. Video game meets WP:PT1 and WP:PT2. 162 etc. (talk) 15:20, 31 July 2026 (UTC)
- The game does receive more pageviews on average. However, the figures are not yet meaningfully comparable: the video-game article has existed since October 2025, whereas Dreamcore (aesthetic) was created on 30 July 2026 and therefore has only one day of traffic data. The aesthetic has also received direct coverage in a peer-reviewed paper published in Empirical Studies of the Arts, as well as independent feature articles from Nylon and i-D. - The bare minimum threshold of WP:GNG is met in the article. A very cursory search shows plenty of more sources available. Happy to defend this in an AfD if you have issues. Also, if you're going to disparage my ability to review AfC drafts, please have the courtesy of pinging me next time. Sulfurboy (talk) 17:49, 1 August 2026 (UTC)

- Oppose per @162 etc. as a clear primary topic + frankly, I am unsure that either dreamcore (aesthetic) or weirdcore should exist as articles at all. aesurias (ping me in your reply, or I won't see it) (talk) 09:14, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
