Iran 2026

The Minab school massacre killing 165+ elementary school girls in March 2026 was reportedly a double-tap by US forces. Anyone care to look into it? — Tha†emoover†here (talk) 03:17, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

I looked into it, it was a triple- tap strike, not a double-tap. I went ahead and added it to the article. Copy/pasted the intro from the 2026 Minab School airstrike article, but some of the refs needed tracking down if they were formatted without any information, for example: <ref name = "xxx" />

"struck by multiple simultaneous or near-simultaneous strikes" this bit disqualifies it according to the definition earlier in the page ~2026-22260-03 (talk) 22:54, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

Where did you see anything about a triple tap? All I see are people citing https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/exclusive-iranian-girls-killed-double-tap-strikes-minab-school this Middle East Eye article which quotes eyewitnesses who say that a bomb hit the school, the students moved, the principle called parents to ask them to pick up their kids, and then the location they were sheltering was hit.

Revise please

This page needs revising. The IRA were using Double Tap attacks in the 1970s in Northern Ireland. See The Warrenpoint ambush of 1979 for an example. I'm not a historian, so it needs a suitable author. GrahamJHewitt (talk) 22:41, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
