I don't think the obituary is actually him, but can't really tell. It was added by a random IP, and then IMDb and AllMovie went along with it when it was changed from 1978 to 2003. Western Clippings provided 1978 and it was written by a Western expert, and the obituary added by the IP doesn't mention his career in films and television. For some reason, 1962 sources reported, he was either 23 or 28. Sources varied, but I will restore the obituary because this source talks about him, and that his father was Vernon, an aviator, which is also in the obituary.
