/* Parishes */ question importance of List of Parishes

What function does the list of parishes serve? It reveals nothing about the diocese. It is not an index to the diocese, or in fact to the parishes of the diocese. It has links to Italian communes (towns and villages), which do not mention the parish churches. It is unreferenced. Is it noteworthy? Perhaps it should be made a separate List of Parishes in the Diocese of Vercelli page. Perhaps it should be deleted entirely.
