Rich History Not Captured
[edit]This page is very outdated and I want to update and capture the company's rich history. I am willing to do the work. I worked for the company over 10 years ago but have had nothing to do with it since then. Still, its journey is rich and needs to be captured. It is like PetSmart and Change Healthcare where a dynamic M&A history has shaped its past. This article was marked as low importance but the truth is this company is a part of the digital story of more than 10% of North American community banks and was a division of two significant publicly traded companies -- NCR and Intuit. I'll await some comments and suggest some immediate changes that can shape this article. FactStacker (talk) 12:30, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- An example of a material change would be this lead in. History, corporate callout, would need similar changes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:FactStacker/sandbox FactStacker (talk) 12:45, 11 August 2025 (UTC)
- OK, I waited about 1 week and didn't hear any input so I went ahead with the intro change. Look at my sandbox for suggested content for the history page. Today the history page reads like a bulleted list and really does't capture the history that is clearly referenced in the sources. Just trying to make this page better! - Also posted a proposed updated Infobox on my sandbox. The company has gone from being a company to a division twice and now the assets are back to a company. Removing "defunct" and adding lineage to the fate is a good stopping point until a potential collapse into a non-existent Candescent. Thoughts on whether the page becomes Candescent and history represents Digital Insight? FactStacker (talk) 12:49, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
