Can anyone help add in information on the Dell XPS One 27"?

Hey, guys, I just added in a new section on the Dell XPS One 27". I know that I can't do all the grunt work myself, so can anyone else pitch in? TehPlaneFreak (talk) 03:15, 6 December 2012 (UTC)

XPS 15 9550 Wireless Card

All the major reviewers and Wikipedia claim the XPs 15 9550 has a 3x3 WiFi card, but Dell seems have switched to 2x2 WiFi card. See here: http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/xps-15-9550-laptop/pd?ref=PD_OC

I also chatted with one of the customer support reps and they confirmed the XPS 15 has 2x2 WiFI right now. Should we update the Wikipedia article to reflect the changes?

Description of new models is filled with marketing junk.

I really feel like this shouldn't be allowed, especially without citing a source. Using marketing claims to describe a product on wikipedia is, in my opinion, slightly dishonest. Wikipedia policy stating that content should be written from a neutral point of view, which all the marketing guff obviously is not. Rowanbird779 (talk) 22:52, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Request to update Introduction section

 

Hi! I’m a Dell Technologies employee submitting a request to update the introduction section of the Dell XPS page. Per Wikipedia’s guidelines, I will not edit the article directly and am instead sharing this proposal for editors to review.

Thank you, JWiki2151, for simplifying the following paragraph:

“In January 2025, Dell announced its intentions to gradually phase out their existing lineup of computer brands in favor of a singular brand simply named as "Dell" as part of the company's shift towards the next generation of PCs with artificial intelligence capabilities. The XPS brand would be supplanted by the Dell laptop line, designed for work and play.”

To better reflect the full range of target audience use cases for the new Dell laptop line and ensure consistency with Dell’s branding, I propose the following revision, based on this Mashable article:

“The XPS brand would be supplanted by the Dell laptop line, designed for play, school, and work.”

To continue being consistent with Dell’s branding, I would also like to request that “series” be replaced with “tiers” to read: “The XPS brand (as well as the Inspiron brand) would be supplanted by the Dell laptop line designed for play, school and work, which includes the Dell, Dell Plus and Dell Premium tiers.” This additional request is also based on this Mashable article. I fully understand and respect Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines, so I will not edit the page directly. Instead, I am submitting this request here for consideration by the Wikipedia community of editors.

• Please update the second sentence within the fifth paragraph of the “History” section.

Original:

The XPS brand (as well as the Inspiron brand) would be supplanted by the Dell laptop line designed for play, school and work, which includes the Dell, Dell Plus and Dell Premium series.

New:
