On the issue of notability regarding the Daria Semegen article: considering the range of material Wikipedia contains that many sensible people would regard as questionable (long pages on the "Cthulhu Mythos," for example), it seems absurd to dispute the inclusion of a serious and significant academic figure.
If avant-garde electronic composers like Bulent Arel and Alice Shields have Wikipedia articles, it's logical that Daria Semegen have one too; same criteria.
