[edit]So it looks like DUSP13 is an ambiguous symbol which can now mean DUSP13A or DUSP13B, though they look like they’re on top of each other, so I’m not sure why they decided to split the gene. According to OMIM: “The DUSP13 gene encodes 2 distinct DSPs, testis- and skeletal muscle-specific DSP (TMDP) and muscle-restricted DSP (MDSP), through the use of alternative, nonoverlapping ORFs”. https://omim.org/entry/613191?search=DUSP13&highlight=dusp13
Anyways, according to HUGO, DUSP13->DUSP13B, so I’m going to try to move the page there, since the uniprot protein name is a bit too long. Pabnau (talk) 06:32, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
