Final Fantasy XIV reference

The second-to-last boss of the Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward raid series is named Cruise Chaser, with an almost identical design and almost certainly a reference to Cruise Chaser Blassty, being a title that has had Uematsu and other original Square staff working on it. As explained here (skip to 25:10), only the elusive Takashi Uno is credited for the music. Nobuo Uematsu said in this interview, the game's music was finished when Square approached him to create arranged versions for the bundled Flexi disc. ~2026-70045-0 (talk) 04:52, 12 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
