[edit]This article is incomplete and does not include easily available information on the history of the immediate area. Instead, it makes loose references to Scone, Perth and Abernethy, undoubtably Pictish, but nonetheless miles away.
I am a direct descendant of families from Newburgh. I find the willful ignorance of the author of this article to be laughable. I count Wallaces, Dunsmores, Bells, Camerons and Grants among the surnames in my family, and I certainly know something about Newburgh and this area. Go ahead with your silly article and its willful lack of references. I laugh.
