Suggesting expansion of the article
[edit]I've added my COI tag here and would like to suggest expansion of this article. As always, I'm open to feedback in service of consensus building. As a first step toward building a consensus, I hope all can agree that the current article is inadequate given the cultural significance of the subject.
Since there are currently no sections, I propose initial edits that bring this article in line with the format of similar articles by improving the initial summary paragraph, adding a history section, improving and correcting data in the Infobox, and including discussion what makes the company socially significant.
I'm including a proposed draft below, so please feel free to weigh in with any appropriate feedback. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the subject. SBCornelius (talk) 20:23, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
Partly done Hi @SBCornelius: I think this can be done with a few changes:
- 1. consolidate the list of products in "Casetify now produces..." to just say technology accessories, or similar, this reads WP:promotional. I'll omit the list of products.
- 2. "The demand for individual Casetify products is frequently driven by their visibility among celebrities and influencers, such as Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid." is subjective and could also be considered promotional. omitting this for now.
- 3. i'll also include these additional references to support fastest growing tech company: https://www.wonderlandmagazine.com/2020/06/10/casetify-wes-ng-buzziest-tech-phone-accessories/ and https://www.dhl.com/discover/en-id/about-dhl/success-stories/the-brand-making-your-phone-case-stand-out.

- Hi @Melodies1917: Thank you for the feedback and help. SBCornelius (talk) 21:18, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Also, I'd written a couple of sections that I didn't include in my original request so as to not overwhelm the page. Your feedback about what you didn't include was helpful and has me wondering what you might think about these sections:
- (Perhaps in the History section)
- The company reports a compound annual growth rate of 70% with 2022 sales projected to exceed US$300 million. Casetify received its first external funding in June 2021 when the venture capital firm C Ventures acquired 10% of Casetify in a deal worth an undisclosed amount.[1][2]
- Products & Technology
- Most products are made with 50%-65% recycled materials.[3][4] In 2022, the company introduced ReCASETiFY, a program that manufactures new phone cases with materials from recycled phone cases sent in by consumers using ISO 14000 standards.[5][6][7] Not all Casetify products support Apple's MagSafe technology for the iPhone 12 and IPhone 13.[8]
- Web3 and NFT
- What are your thoughts on including information like this to further round out the article? Thanks again! SBCornelius (talk) 21:31, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- I think the history section is suitable, especially since it is well-sourced. For the Products section, the ReCASETiFY part can be slotted into History. The rest is just a little too marketing-y to be appropriate, at least in my opinion. The NFT part is ok, except for the tail-end, the CEO's personal purchases are not relevant to the company's business dealings, at least in this context. Partly done: The HQ information is unsourced and conflicts with information in the article. The information about the product line is too detailed given the context of the article. I've added the employee number field. Thanks! Actualcpscm (talk) 19:56, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Proposed sourced addition to History: 2021 C Ventures investment
[edit]I work for CASETiFY, so I have a conflict of interest and am not editing the article directly. I am requesting review of a narrow, source-backed addition to the History section.
Please **ADD** the following text to the "History" section, immediately **AFTER** the very first sentence ("Formerly Casetagram, Casetify's initial products were customized cell phone cases created using the purchaser's Instagram photos."):
"In June 2021, C Ventures made an eight-figure U.S.-dollar investment in Casetify, marking the company's first external funding since its founding in 2011.[21]"
Reason: This is a material company-history milestone covered by an independent source and is not currently reflected in the article. I have kept the wording limited to the investment and its significance as the company's first external funding.
Thank you for reviewing.Reileungeditor (talk) 10:06, 3 July 2026 (UTC) Reileungeditor (talk) 10:06, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
