The epitaph — lifted from Maret 1846 — is needlessly pedantic in its accentuation (quâ for qua, etc.), which does not appear on the actual inscription, and is an artifact of (middling) 19c scholarship. The ligatures (æ) might usefully be removed as well. On the other hand, this is verse, and should probably be formatted as such. 24.136.4.218 (talk) 14:45, 3 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
