Removal of date of birth

I have removed a date of birth from this article. Although the sentence that contained it was followed by two citations, I cannot see a date of birth in either source. Meanwhile, WP:BLPPRIVACY requires that a date of birth in a biography of a living person be supported by reliable published sources.

On a related note, this article in the Tulsa Word quotes Hutson: "I went out on the road in January of '81 with a play called There Goes the Bride." Such activity would not seem to support the date that was in the article. Eddie Blick (talk) 16:51, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

Source for Savannah?

Does anyone have a source for Savannah as her place of birth? It appears in the infobox and categories, but not in the article's text. Items in those two places should be found in the text and supported there by valid citations. Eddie Blick (talk) 17:15, 30 December 2024 (UTC)

I am requesting a review and correction of several sections in this article regarding biographical information about Candace Hutson.

I have a conflict of interest, as I am a family member of the subject, so I am requesting that neutral editors evaluate and implement any changes rather than editing directly.

Candace Hutson is an American former child actress and voice actress. She is best known for voicing Cera in The Land Before Time (1988) and appearing in its early sequels. She has also appeared in television and film roles including Evening Shade, Hider in the House (1989), and Dolly Dearest (1991).

Hutson later transitioned away from acting and pursued a career in healthcare, becoming a registered nurse and later a family nurse practitioner. She has since worked in clinical and professional roles outside the entertainment industry. Candace Hutson is married to Cory Kenny and has three Children. I don't believe any of these are usable as sources. Grokipedia and Fandom are not reliable. The "Nostalgia Con - Houston" link does not contain any information about Hutson, it just lists her name and says that she was at the con. One of the Facebook links doesn't seem to be working for me - perhaps the content is private. The other one (the wedding anniversary post) is perhaps usable to confirm that she is married, but it is questionable because it's not from a verified account - and we wouldn't be including her husband's name in the article anyway, per Wikipedia policy.

Ultimately, we can only include information in a Wikipedia article that is findable in sources of the kind Wikipedia calls reliable. Writing several paragraphs based on your personal knowledge and then trying to backfill sources is not a good approach, because much of what you know about Hutson - because you have a personal connection - may simply not exist in any published source. You would be better off identifying sources first and then asking for the information that's in them to be added. If you want to do that, you will need to familiarise yourself with what Wikipedia considers reliable sources. AntiDionysius (talk) 23:07, 29 April 2026 (UTC)
