[edit]

The section on legend and folklore is almost entirely about Wales. It has almost nothing to do with Scotland, and should be cut. It's basically rubbish for tourists. Macdonald-ross (talk) 22:22, 25 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

“Welsh” was Spoken extensively in what is now Scotland;
Kingdom of Strathclyde
Pictish language
Brittonic languages
The given associated Welsh poem “Cad Goddeu” links to Historia Brittonum#Arthur's battles which mentions “Coed Celyddon” the Caledonian Forest.

'Remaining pinewoods' section may sadly be out of date

[edit]

Unfortunately as a result of the 2026 Cairngorm wildfire, i believe some of this section may be outdated. If someone could update this to reflect this, it would be appreciated. tarhataz (talk) 20:03, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
