Pronuncication of the word Buk (Бук in Russian)
[edit]The article states that 'Buk' is pronounced like 'book' (like a school book), and not like 'buck' (like a male deer). That's all fine and good, but different English-speakers pronounce words differently. For example in some parts of northern England, the word 'book' is pronounced like the word 'boo' with a 'k' on the end (rhymes with 'souk'). And 'buck' would be pronounced differently too; it would sound more like 'book', as the proposed suggested pronunciation of 'Buk'!
