Hello, I just want to request an inquirery on any issues of The Paper & Hearts Society using the location of the Brontë Parsonage Museum for Pop Culture of the article. Why is it "wrong" to say that the parsonage was visited in Lucy Powrie's 2019 novel when it was mentioned towards the end of the book? SP Air & Space (talk) 20:05, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Hello SP Air & Space. Thanks for your note here. I see that you are a new user, and your first edit was at 17:25 UTC today, 16 June 2025. I have to admit that I have never heard of The Paper & Hearts Society which I assume is a book by someone called Lucy Powrie. So I can't comment on whether that book makes any mention of the Brontë Parsonage Museum. Neither of these have an article about them at Wikipedia. But I see that Lucy Powrie is briefly mentioned in the "Legacy" section of Emily Brontë. If you want to add the book in the "On popular culture" section of the Brontë Parsonage Museum article, you will need to provide a WP:Secondary source that provides support for the connection. I agree to copy this thread over to Talk:Brontë Parsonage Museum, keep discussion thread titled The Paper & Hearts Society for the discussion and announcement of all requirements to add Lucy Powrie's novel to the "On popular culture" section on the Brontë Parsonage Museum article. What WP:Secondary sources are required for inclusion of a book to pop culture sections if the book mentions the subject of the article, since chapter 24 is at the subject location of the article of the attempted insertion? You can include it if you can provide a secondary source that points out the connection. As Powrie has no Wikipedia article, there is no indication that her book is at all notable. For information the source used in the Emily Brontë article is this one. But that doesn't seem to mention the connection directly. Perhaps you can find something else? Thanks. I was looking for a corroboration, in a secondary source, that "the parsonage is mentioned towards the end of the book". Yes, her personal connection with the museum is clear, regardless of the book. Well, I guess it's better than nothing, as it says: "The group went to places of significance to Jane Austen, William Shakespeare and The Bronte Family... From the Moors and the Parsonage that surrounded the Brontes..." It is only a user-written blog, apparently, without any editorial oversight. But many thanks for looking.
