Article split due to conflicting definition
[edit]A name has already been given for the second listed definition of brainrot: digital dementia. However, the term usually used by the internet ("brainrot") usually means slang in the 2024 range (ex.: "rizz", "ohio", "aura", "fanum tax", "maxxing", "son"), Skibidi Toilet and its name being endlessly repeated, Italian brainrot and Soviet brainrot. Maybe we could split this article into Brain rot and Digital dementia? ~2026-52251-45 (talk) 20:46, 1 October 2026 (UTC)
- It could also be worth expanding the problematic social media use article to cover any "brain rot" or "digital dementia" angle that it's currently missing. Belbury (talk) 09:23, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
