Paragraph needs removal

Under the heading "History" this rather odd passage is found in the second paragraph: "Pasticcerie sometimes have handwritten signs for them, and food writer Emily Wise scornfully wrote that visitors might not be as taken with hot filled doughnuts in an area with wild boar salami and sandwiches with truffle oil on offer, but that residents of Tuscany enjoy them even at the beach" (emphases added).
There are at least three problems with this passage. First, the existence of signage and people's opinions of food are two completely separate thoughts, so they should not share a sentence. Second, how is it relevant at all whether or not there are handwritten signs (as are quite the norm for prepared food around the world)? And third, what someone (who seems to be non-notable) says "scornfully" about people's dining preferences is irrelevant here; it is introducing controversy where there would seem to have been none. (And it's also a false dilemma, since there is no reason to think that people would be debating between eating a savory food, such as "wild boar salami and sandwiches with truffle oil" with a dessert or breakfast pastry like a "hot filled doughnut". This entire paragraph should be removed as both irrelevant and failing WP:N.
