Bob hundBob Hund — Per MOS:TM, which states that trademarks (including band names) should be capitalized, as with proper names, and should "follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting 'official'". mx3 15:09, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • The first point under General rules, "Capitalize trademarks, as with proper names", does not state that the trademark has to be in English. Non-English trademarks are affected as well. mx3 19:27, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Past tense or present tense?

[edit]

I haven't edited anything larger than typos before, so I thought I would defer to the judgement of others on this issue. Bob Hund have recently held their final concert and stated their intention to stop playing live, but they have stopped short of saying the band is finished or defunct. From interviews they have given recently, it seems like the band is still "together" in some capacity, and indeed may still release newly recorded music.

I see this article has been edited to say "was" in English, but after some discussion of this same issue, the Swedish version of the page uses the present tense to describe the band (which I personally think is more accurate).

Would love some guidance on this interesting problem! Bingokill (talk) 14:57, 2 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
