Geddins didn't write Tin Pan Alley - Curtis Jones did, the version covered by later artists like SRV was closer to Jimmy Wilson's recording of it however. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.18.84.95 (talk) 20:56, 18 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Actually the source used elsewhere in the article,^[1] stated Geddins reworked a pre-war Curtis Jones song into "Tin Pan Alley". Magic Slim recorded an album called Tin Pan Alley (2012), which unsurprisingly had the song in question included, where the songwriting credits are given to both Curtis and Geddins, as per here. Generally many blues songs are/were 'reworkings' of earlier tracks. Thanks. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 21:52, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
