Two systems
[edit]Although I have no sources to back up the assertion, logically the use of white & black balls with Yes/No ballot boxes implies these were originally two voting systems which have erroneously come to be used together. If a black ball enters the ballot, it is immaterial whether it be found in the Yes drawer or the No drawer: it is counted as a vote to blackball. Nuttyskin (talk) 16:20, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
