American soldier from Benge, wa. WWI killed and buried near Waregem, France

Benge, Washington is listed as the home town for a Private Michele Chimiente who is honored in with a plaque in town of Waregem, France. He was killed while serving with the 316th Engineer Regiment. It would be interesting to see if his family is still in eastern Washington. MedinaReader (talk) 03:23, 31 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
