Article notes
[edit]- Raddall mentions an article discussing the Bank of Acadia in the Halifax Chronicle-Herald on 21 May 1954. I doubt this is online anywhere.
- Most sources simply state the bank started in December. A History of Banking in Canada gives us the date of the charter as June, which would make sense as the bank would then need time to get their notes together and such. I don't believe official documents from the time period are available online other than the act but they are likely at the Nova Scotia Archives.
