Potter sequence fatality level contradiction

The section in this article concerning Potter sequence (section link here) appears to contradict the article on the disorder. The article indicates that, while the prognosis tends to be poor, there have been several reported cases of individuals who have survived it. On the other hand, the section in this article appears to imply that the disorder is invariably fatal. Clearly there is a error somewhere, and I believe someone with better knowledge of the disorder than I should look into this discrepancy and correct it.
