Proposed addition: Electrogenic ability / electric discharges
[edit]The article currently lacks any mention of reports that live Agrostichthys parkeri can produce mild electric discharges. This trait is noted in the scientific literature, based on firsthand observations during handling of a specimen. I suggest adding a short sentence or paragraph under the "Anatomy and morphology" section (or a new "Behavior" / "Physiology" subsection if one is created):"Personnel handling a live specimen have reported experiencing mild but distinct pulsed electric shocks at roughly 10-second intervals.[citation needed]"

Proceedings of the 5th Indo-Pacific Fish Conference, Nouméa, pp. 165–174. (The paper quotes Jason McKenzie of Lincoln University, who handled the fish caught in Kauaurau Bay, New Zealand, along with an independent confirmation from a companion.)
This is also referenced in later works, e.g.:Evseenko, S.A. & Bol'shakova, Ya.Yu. (2014). "First finding of a juvenile of the streamer fish Agrostichthys parkeri..." Journal of Ichthyology 54(8): 608–610.
The observation is based on direct handling (not formal electrophysiological measurements) and describes mild shocks only — nothing comparable to strongly electrogenic species like electric eels.
