In the biodiversity section it is said that a species of cusk eel was found at a depth of 8730m but one of the references says it was a mistake and the depth is actually 7965m but I’m not sure about the other references. Zhenghecaris (talk) 16:32, 13 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

In this part of the article it says “ In December 2014 a type of snailfish was filmed at a depth of 8145 meters, followed in May 2017 by another sailfish filmed at 8178 meters. These are, to date, the deepest living fish ever recorded.” it mentions sailfish which is probably a typo of snailfish but I’m not sure. Zhenghecaris (talk) 16:34, 13 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
