Unfortunately, CricketArchive and Cricinfo part company on this player. CricketArchive's data is as given in the article, However, Cricinfo has him as two different players, Aamer Ali and Amir Ali, whose figures add up to those of the single Aamer Ali CricketArchive has. Clearly I couldn't simply ignore such a major discrepancy, so I had to choose one source, and went for CA on the grounds that I've generally found it to be the more statistically accurate of the two.
