Spies

Many ask why there are non-violent spies/traitors at ADF Florence since almost all others are violent criminals. Here is a good article that describes how Jim Nicholson continued to send intelligence to the Russians by having his kid visit him at the federal prison in Sheridan and take secrets to the Russian embassy in Mexico. I'd recommend that a couple of sentences be added to explain that continued espionage is the concern that drives DoJ to send spies to ADF Florence.

In the section about Robert Hanssen this page asserts that US spies were executed because of his actions, and links to two primary source articles about his sentencing that do not mention this detail. Now this detail is backed up by other sources and is extensively sourced in the main article about Robert Hanssen. Political Prisoners?

The examples of famous prisoners doesn't fit at all with the claim that these prisoners are the most violent.

Robert Hanson, Ted Kyzonski, Terry Nichols, etc. These are political Prisoners in the sense that they threatened the State. They have no record of attacking guards or other imates.

In all these cases I've mentioned they were sent here directly from their trial as additional punishment for political crimes. It is the American gulag.

Potential NPOV Issue & Controversy Addition Needed?

I wanted to ask about this here since I'm a new editor and I wanted to hear from more experienced people before altering the article at all. Similar to an earlier topic on this page, I wonder if this article comes off as somewhat propagandistic. My attention especially goes to the phrase "The prison houses some of the most dangerous criminals in the United States" in the introduction. While "violent" and "dangerous" are not the same thing, I do think that the latter might imply the former. I also feel like this implies that all of the prisoners at ADX Florence are super dangerous, which might not necessarily be the case (ex: Amnesty International Article about it housing many escape risks; A&E TV article mentioning a former prisoner who committed several unarmed robberies then was transferred to ADX Florence after escaping to see his son). This phrase also feels somewat unnecessary, since this is an article about a supermax prison and some of the examples of notable prisoners conveys the same message. That said, since I'm a new editor I can't tell if this is reasonable ground to get rid of this phrase or if I'm just being nitpicky, so lmk what you think!

Also, should Trump's efforts to transfer some prisoners that Biden took off death row to ADX Florence be mentioned in controversies?
