The Automobile Association (Ireland) → AA Ireland – AA Ireland is the WP:COMMONNAME, a natural disambiguation, and the current title is not even officially used. "The Automobile Association" does not refer to this company. The company is officially AA Ireland Ltd and all of this article's sources refer to it simply as AA Ireland. - Support per WP:COMMONNAME, etc. - The Automobile Association of the past no longer exists, and AA Ireland is distinct from the AA successor in the UK. SeoR (talk) 06:10, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

I am an employee of AA Ireland working in digital content strategy. I have a declared conflict of interest and am not editing the article directly. Full disclosure is on my user page: User:AdityaAA26.
The current article lists the following as an active AA Ireland activity:
"Issuing of International Driving Permits (IDPs)"
This is no longer accurate. AA Ireland discontinued this service on 18 May 2026. The issuance of International Driving Permits in Ireland was transferred to the Road Safety Authority (RSA) and is now issued via the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS).
Proposed change: Remove the bullet point "Issuing of International Driving Permits (IDPs)" from the main AA activities list entirely.
I am happy to provide further information if needed. AdityaAA26 (talk) 09:25, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
Done The entire list is unsourced so I'm happy to remove this bullet point. I see it's also discussed on the company's website For your other edit requests, please be advised you may need to supply sources if you want information changed/added instead of simply removed. Thank you for disclosing your COI and using the edit request process. Zzz plant (talk) 23:47, 12 August 2026 (UTC)

The current article states:
"In 2016, AA Ireland began offering life insurance and mortgage protection through a partnership with Aviva plc, to both new and existing customers, as part of a new venture."
This is no longer accurate. AA Ireland no longer offers life insurance or mortgage protection to new customers. The section as written implies this is an ongoing active service, which is misleading to readers.
Proposed change: Update the AA Life Insurance section to reflect that this service is no longer available to new customers. Suggested replacement text:
"In 2016, AA Ireland began offering life insurance and mortgage protection through a partnership with Aviva plc. This service is no longer available to new customers."
I am happy to provide further information if needed. AdityaAA26 (talk) 09:44, 12 August 2026 (UTC)

The current article infobox lists AA Ireland's number of employees as 510. This figure is outdated. AA Ireland now employs more than 750 people.
Proposed change: Update the "Number of employees" field in the infobox from "510" to "750+"
I am happy to provide further information if needed. AdityaAA26 (talk) 09:55, 12 August 2026 (UTC)
