I do not know if I am doing this correctly, but I am trying to move the page. The article says that this storm has the official name "Hartmut" and it is called so in another Wikipedia article. I could not find the storm that article called Hartmut because the article was under the nickname Beast from the East. I have changed that page to a redirect to this page. If there is an official Wikipedia way to do this, please let me know. I am doing this with the best of intentions, as it seems to me that the official name is the correct name for the article. Not 'British Isles'

[edit]

You may 'Britain & Ireland' but can't say 'British Isles' and mean to include Ireland. This is anachronistic and therefore offensive to the people of Ireland. France is not Gaul, Germany is no longer the Third Reich and the USA is not the 13 Colonies - Ireland is no longer ruled by Britain. It is not British. ~2026-33408-17 (talk) 19:43, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

"You may 'Britain & Ireland' but can't say 'British Isles' and mean to include Ireland." You don't know basic geography. The British Isles cover Great Britain and several other islands. Irish nationalism is irrelevant. Dimadick (talk) 15:15, 7 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
